Why is it important?
While the Polish Navy was rather small, its men and ships made a very helpful addition to the British Royal Navy which needed every possible ship during the early years of World War II. The book provides a concise overview of the Polish Navy and its origins after World War I that previously was inaccessible to anyone who did not read the Polish language.
