What is it about?
"Made-in-Korea" or Koreanized English words are lexical innovations coined by Korean speakers using the English material for their own communicative purposes. This paper examines Korean–English in contact, explores the lexical creativity of Korean speakers and identifies the new cultural meanings of Koreanized English words

Why is it important?
Previously, Koreanized English words were simply considered to be Konglish. I suggest that Koreanized English words are naturally incorporated in all lects, including the basilect one (Konglish), and contribute to the formation of Korean English as a new English variety in Korea
