Why is it important?

Traditional medical tourism has mainly focused on health issues and cosmetic surgery and tourism scholars have largely neglected mental health, which has been scantly explored under “mindfulness tourism” Hence, we propose “healing tourism" as a new post-COVID19 product.

Perspectives

Millions of people are impacted by the pandemic and we need to focus on our mental health to get resilience after a global crisis.
