This research contributes to an under researched area of health and leisure studies. Key findings from the study include: Indigenous women’s prioritizing time for leisure, increasing their physical activity, enhancing their health literacy, and increasing healthy lifestyle choices.

Perspectives

This study is important because no previous studies have addressed how digital health trackers influence physical activity among Indigenous women in Australia.
