Why is it important?
The PNF-concept is a well-known and frequently used physical therapy and rehabilitation approach, hence in the time of Evidence Based Practice, an overview of the evidence might be helpful for physical therapist to make adequate clinical decisions when using the PNF-concept.
Perspectives
There seems to be a misunderstanding among researchers about the PNF-concept. Often the concept is studied in a manner that is besides the objective and scope of the concept, therefore several outcomes need further consideration than often provided in the papers from research.
