Why is it important?
Copyright law requires compliance by libraries. Institutions that use ILLiad software often think they can push a button and that report can be submitted as complete and accurate. A review of the software has identified some issues that users may want to be aware of and change. Examples are given.
Perspectives
It is important for individuals responsible for compliance to have correct information and a rationale as to how the information was obtained. they should know that the information is correct. Don't gamble on the accuracy of your information provided to comply with copyright law.
