What is it about?

This article analyzes how Central Michigan University implemented an electronic copyright clearance service to streamline the placement of items on course reserve. By undertaking this process for faculty --including obtaining copyright clearance for each item, paying any applicable usage costs, and uploading the articles directly into Blackboard -- the library has saved faculty time and helped the university become more copyright compliant.
