What is it about?
The article presents in detail the origins of the model of music-active therapy developed by the authors, integrating the theory and practice of musical pedagogy, musical rhythm and plastic, modern research and technology of musical therapy. The structural model of the music-therapeutic program in the clinic, the criteria for evaluating the effectiveness and the results are presented.

Why is it important?
Our study proved the real effectiveness of the music-therapeutic program in the author’s model for children with a psychosomatic personality profile using an example of an asthmatic patient.
Perspectives
This article contributes to evidence-based music therapy, drawing this scientific field from a mythological shadow. For us, it is one of a long-term research project on evidence-based music therapy in clinical and educational practice.
