Perspectives

Writing this article was great pleasure as I have been associated with the various projects that have transformed the Indian agricultural libraries. Collaborative projects like CeRA- consortiums and union catalogues-AgriCat developed on Koha have made breakthroughs in transformation. Sustainable development of digital platforms is important, the article discusses how the various platforms have been sustained and continued. What are the challenges in digital acessability of e-resources for new /developing universities, how the digital divide can be adressed and how greater dependency on e-text can be realized in the light of changing technological scenario.
