Why is it important?
With the number of students exposed to adverse risks increasing, teachers can provide some support to these children in the classroom to aid in their personal and academic development.
Perspectives
As educators, we often observe students struggling academically and personally in the classroom as a result of various challenges they encounter. Recognising that a child is struggling is but the first step to help them overcome obstacles, we believe teachers are ideally placed to encourage, support, teach and advice children under their care.
