What is it about?
This paper explores how commons initiatives can challenge dominant (i.e. hegemonic) ideas about nature, democracy and community, through their everyday discourses and practices (i.e. their performative dimension). This is done through a case study of the community forest management of Casa Pueblo in Puerto Rico.
