What is it about?
Many in Australia believe that Australia and India are “natural partners” and should become “strategic partners.” While there certainly seem to be many areas of common interest in security matters, this article will question the view that the strategic perspectives of Australia and India are inexorably converging. It will discuss the limits of strategic convergence between Australia and India with particular reference to the Indian Ocean.
