What is it about?

This article shows how one Indian film production company creates films that show a positive view of Indian citizens abroad. This serves to present a strong representation of the nation and its citizens as globally connected, and with the economic and cultural means to be successful in a foreign land. Through examples of popular films, we show how the traditions of India remain as an underlying theme, and characters always yearn for their homeland.
