Why is it important?

This study is timely considering that resource-based conflicts have become the major challenges the African continent in general and Nigeria in particular is grappling with. The solutions proffered if implemented could go a long way to address these challenges.

Perspectives

I encourage all stakeholders in Nigeria, security and development experts as well as African governments to adopt the strategies suggested in the article in their efforts to address resource-based conflicts on the continent.
