What is it about?

HIV/AIDS is one of the major concerns for health authorities worldwide because it generally affects the young, and reproductive sectors of a population. Most of the FSWs are trading sex in urban areas. Female sex workers (FSWs) are considered to be an important at-risk group for HIV infection in Bangladesh

Why is it important?

Due to the extensive range of the spread of HIV/AIDS through FSWs, and their clients, it is, therefore essential to be able to investigate HIV testing behaviors in Bangladesh.

Perspectives

It was my great experience to do this work with direct the interaction with this FSWs group. The first challenge was to prove myself as a non sex trader (friend) and second one was to prove trustworthy to the society and also the law force agency.
