What is it about?
Many bridges around the world have failed as a result of scour around their piers. This paper explains temporal variation of scour around bridge piers important for the design of bridge piers and abutments to safeguard them against scour failure. Further it also presents application of Genetic Algorithm (GA) to model scour bridge piers.
