Why is it important?
Of late, it is realised that state alone can not fulfill all the needs of the poor and marginal communities of India. Hence, there is a requirement of NGOs to take part in the development operations across India and most importantly for the tribal people of India. Hence, it is very important that NGOs have a greater role to play along with the state in order to address the issues of the poor until not addressed.
Perspectives
This article really broaden my ideas about the role of state and non-state actors, NGOs, until then, i was believing that only state has to take care of all the needs of the poor and vulnerable sections of our society.
