What is it about?
This mixed methods study sought the views of early childhood studies students from 3 universities in England. The importance of placement was highly valued by students. Students highlighted that academic and pastoral care was needed. The ECS degree is a firm foundation for a range of roles in children's services. The findings helped to inform the development of the Graduate Competencies.
