What is it about?

Critique of - especially - the "digital gangsterism" practised - especially - by the "Surveillance Capitalists" Google and Facebook. These wilfully break the law, contribute to self-harm by subscribing teenagers and others, and have dispossessed users of their rightful property, notably their identities. They are badly in need of "super-regulating" and this article informs readers how they must be taught how to behave in a civilised and responsible way in affected societies.

Why is it important?

Because "innovation" is evangelised in neoliberal economies and society is being held to ransom by digital gangsters like Google and Facebook who are seen by political elites as furthering illicit behaviour by such "Surveillance" monopolists.

Perspectives

Because "Surveillance Capitalism" is, as Shoshana Zuboff, in her book of the same name shows the "innovations" associated with such "digital gangsters" as Google and Facebook, are a clear and present danger to society and must be "super-regulated".
