What is it about?
The present article studies the process of the creation of a second Centre Pomdiou in Metz, a medium-sized city located in a formerly old-industrialised region, a 300 km away from Paris. It shows how the decision has been taken, which actors were involved and how the new Centre Pompidou-Metz increasingly got integrated into the cultural and socio-economic networks of the region.
