What is it about?
We use a research method called duoethnography to reflect on how well we conducted a participatory action research (PAR) project. Because our PAR project was collaborative, we wanted to use an evaluation method that was collaborative, too. It was important for us to document what we did and share what we learned, both for our future projects and for other RPPs.

Traditional evaluation methods are not designed to surface and wrestle with the findings that came out of our collaborative evaluation.
Perspectives
I had a lot of fun working on this with my co-author. The space we cultivated for these conversations were therapeutic for me because we had spent so much time planning and working on the participatory project, we rarely had time to really sit with how we were feeling about the project, which is also so very important.
