What is it about?
Showing change of prevention type campaigns or interventions can be challenging. KAP Score is a model that helps to generate evidence of change. The model can be incorporated into any questionnaire and can be used for any type of methodology.

Why is it important?
Donors are often vigilant about seeing evidence of change. For prevention type programs this can be a challenge. KAP Score is a proxy measure that helps to provide evidence of change in the form of behavioral compliance.
Perspectives
In this article we aim to show the workings of the KAP Score model. To make it more interesting and digestible two actual case studies are presented, one looking at how to measure risk reduction (human trafficking) and the other deals with demand reduction (wildlife products).
