Why is it important?

Yet,There was not any clinical trial about methotrexate effectiveness in treatment of BCC.since effect of methotrexate relates to mitotic rate, which is low in BCC;the study does not show any effect.

Perspectives

This study was about treatment of the most common skin neoplasm. Methotrexate is a safe and accessible therapy. So studying it’s effectiveness is worthy. The remarkable point is that although it is effective in conditions such as keratoacanthoma, results in treatment of BCC is not satisfactory.
