Predictors of depression among patients on art in a rural health district in North West Cameroon

We surveyed patients attending a rural district hospital and assessed correlates of depression. This paper addresses an important gap given the very limited data available on the mental health state of HIV patients in Cameroon in particular and sub Saharan Africa in general. We look forward to work on effects of antidepressant therapy on treatment outcomes as well as quality of life.
