What is it about?

With an increasing number of young people living with HIV, especially in sub-Saharan Africa, it is important to provided ways in which young people and their families can deal with their illness. The VUKA program helps youth and their famlies learn ways of dealing with their HIV status and how to live healthy and productive lives

It is cartoon-based - for low literacy populations, follows a story-line to help participants follow the life of a young person with HIV and to find solutions to the issues through discussion and informed understanding
