What is it about?

Denmark joined the EC in 1973. Still, a cross-border labor market has not evolved in the Danish-German border region, which is a historical region, divided at the present border in 1920. In my paper I analyze why it is so difficult to develop a cross-border labor market, even though narratives of actual commuters are overwhelmingly positive.
