What is it about?

This paper examines the life and the work of Dr. John N. Rosen, who devoted his lifelong to the treatment of individual diagnosed with schizophrenia.

Why is it important?

Because Rosen was not a villain, but a saint neither. He was only a psychiatrist that tried to help to other human beings. Thus, Rosen's work should be revisited for putting him in his place.

Perspectives

I only hope that lay people and experts understand that psychosis still is an enigma, and that drugs and therapy combined can be of great help to normalize the life of psychotic indviduals and their families.
