What is it about?
Scores on tests comprised of the same content but delivered through different formats should be comparable to ensure the validity of the test. This study compared students' state assessment results between using Macs with large, high-definition screens and using Chromebooks with standard 14-inch screens. Results showed no significant evidence supporting a large and high-definition screen's positive impact on students' performance.

The findings showed no significant evidence that Macs with large, high-definition screens positively impacted students' performance compared to Chromebooks with a standard 14-inch screen. In addition, there was no relationship between the impact of screen size and item types. Therefore, school districts should be assured assured that they can buy the less-expensive devices with little impact on students' test scores.
