What is it about?

Focus group answers from the participants, describing their experiences as cancer survivors and going through a group exercise and counseling program. One of the main themes was that exercise brought them together as a group so they felt comfortable speaking and sharing in counseling.

Why is it important?

Often, cancer survivors (males especially) don't feel comfortable talking in counseling sessions. Pairing counseling with simultaneous group exercise creates a sense of mutual aid and trust that allows them to open up.
