Why is it important?
Dynamics in Higher Education are changing rapidly around the world - bringing challenge and opportunity for academics. It is important to reflect on how this is influencing how we position ourselves and why - in order to prompt discussion and shared understandings amongst colleagues and management.
Perspectives
This article was six years in the writing - and is the result of close collaboration with a multidisciplinary research team. The process of writing it has certainly helped me reflect on how I choose to position myself as an academic - which has been most enriching and enlightening.
