Using classification and digital catalogues in costume house collections

What is it about?

Costume houses have large collections of costumes used for film and theatre productions. Yet there are few publications examining how these collections are organized. This research looks at how the collections are organized from the perspective of library and information studies. By applying more of the principles and methods used in libraries and museums, costume houses can improve their business' efficiency and profitability.
