This article looks at the changing music industry. We now subscribe to music instead of buying music collections. But what happens when we stop subscribing?

Why is it important?

Digital music subscriptions cost $10/month. This is a 300% increase in the amount the average consumer spends per year. However, people have nothing after they cancel their subscriptions. I call this the unending consumption of music - a new formation of capitalism.
