What is it about?
200000+ people visit the remote Ningaloo reef every year. Perched on the edge of the Australian desert it is within swimming distance of the shore. This makes it both an attractive and vulnerable location. To manage it well requires understanding of use patterns and potential outcomes of management and development options. The destination model is one such tool.
