What is it about?

Swat is rich in terms of socio-cultural history. The valley has seen phenomenal political and cultural changes throughout history which in turn have effected a sort of cultural fusion. This historical hybridity is more visible in folk cultural features such as tales, recitals and folklore. This study is all about this phenomena.

It talks about plurality, tolerance and healthy interaction between different socio-religious groups in South Asia.

Perspectives

I think that such a study can lead us towards understanding societal formation and pluralisitic vision about our future.
