What is it about?

Meta-analysis combines information across several studies. Patient-specific meta-analysis combines information relative to a specific patient from each study using meta-analysis techniques. We develop this approach here particularly for assessment of risk of future events such cancer recurrence.

Personalized medicine means making individualized treatment decisions. Patient-specific meta-analysis provides a way to leverage risk information pertinent to an individual patient across several studies to inform these decisions.
