What is it about?

In this publication evolution is explained as a progressive process towards successively higher levels of complexity, implying a hierarchical organization of living creatures. The exploration also includes the evolution of human culture.

Why is it important?

Progress is accomplished by a steady increase of complexity in continuous competition. The model explains stagnant species as well as a stepwise emergence of species at higher levels of complexity. As a consequence the human species is the summit of evolution.

Perspectives

I hope that my suggested interpretation of the evolutionary process is in concord with common peoples notions of the progress of life, a notion that is not supported by contemporary scientists. I hope that this will increase common peoples confidence in science which is important in the present generally spread notions of relative truth.
