Multistate coherent systems

What is it about?

The main purpose of the present paper is to develop a structure analysis of the complex systems for the multistate case. We make this analysis by examining the properties of the reliability structure. particular attention is paid to the different forms of the reliability structure, and to the relationship between them. Moreover, a class of multistate coherent systems (MCS) is introduced to which could be restricted the study of so called isotonic systems. Some new subclasses of MCSs are proposed. In the end, elements of computer assistance in structure analysis of multistate systems are given.
