What is it about?
How line loss can be negative in a phase was explained in this paper. Voltage at upstream bus is generally higher than the voltage at downstream bus. It was shown how downstream bus voltage can be higher than the upstream bus voltage. It was also demonstrated that although capacitor provides only reactive power but its current has both active and reactive components.
