Why is it important?
It provides fresh empirical evidence on capacity building efforts of Librarians in Nigeria. Findings show that seminars/ workshop and conferences are avenues for developing librarians in Nigeria. Additionally, these avenues leads to the development and implementation of new services in the libraries identified.
Perspectives
It was a great pleasure to provide fresh perspective on efforts of a professional association in developing librarians in Nigeria.
