What is it about?
This manuscript maps the modes of dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic by two public organisations in the Czech Republic from its beginning to the present day to identify the final form of their organisational resilience and key factors that influenced it. The Nograšek and Vintar organisational model, which relies on the crucial role of ICT and its dependence on people, processes, structure, and culture, was utilised to achieve this objective.

Why is it important?
The results show both organisations are characterised by “bounce forward” resilience influenced by a high level of digitisation, democratic/emancipatory leadership style, professional staff, and supportive organisational culture. While Deconcentrate has demonstrated the ability to function smoothly during and after the pandemic, the Agency has even seen an increase in the productivity of its employees due to the rise in work agendas during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Perspectives
Writing this article was a great pleasure as it was co-authored with whom I have had long-standing collaborations. In addition, I gained new personal contacts with people from the Deconcentrate and the Agency holding different job positions.
