Why is it important?
The study also explores the extent to which values such as equity, social justice, and quality of life are embodied in the performance evaluations of these officials in Russia.
Perspectives
The results of the study demonstrate that the new methodology of Russian governors’ performance evaluation, adopted in 2017, provides for the application of indicators that reflect the principles of equity, social justice, and “quality of life.” It is relevant and generally appropriate for the assessment of the activities of top level regional executives.
