Why is it important?

Public, private, voluntary and community organisations are increasingly expected to collaborate in order to address complex social problems. Achieving this, however, is not straightforward and may benefit from independent facilitation. This paper gives insights into how this can be done.

Perspectives

This paper helps develop and extend thinking about leadership in collaborative environments where traditional, hierarchical approaches are unlikely to be effective at mobilising change.
