What is it about?

The motivation to work in the public sector has been associated with work engagement. But sometimes the demands of working in the public sector can make employees feel less engaged at work. This study investigates how public service motivation can support work engagement and act as a potential mitigator of the negative effects of red tape (a type of job demand in the public sector) on work engagement.
