What is it about?
Uterine rupture is a rare complication during pregnancy. However, when it does occur, it is a life threatening event for both the mother and the baby. Our patient is a 41 year old female, gravida 2 para 0, with a history of a robotic assisted myomectomy for uterine fibroids 3 years prior at a different hospital, presented to our hospital at 19 weeks gestation complaining of diffuse lower abdominal pain associated with nausea and vomiting. She had uterine rupture occurred in a non-laboring uterus, once at 8 weeks and again at 21 gestational weeks during two subsequent pregnancies.
