What is it about?
This paper shows the impact of language ideologies in the linguistic and communicative practices of the migrants workers from the bilingual region Galicia (Spain) in the 1960s and beyond. It focuses on two different ideologemes, prevailing at the time: "the myth of return" and the "one nation, one language, one State" one.
