In this article we describe the reasons for working with subject specific literacies and the suggestions on how to implement a teaching programme focused in this area.

Perspectives

I modestly hope that this article can help teachers understand the necessity to address the use of the foreign language used as a vehicle of communication in CLIL settings in a different way. The most important thing being that working with the language from a general perspective is not enough.
