What is it about?
This article is about how the director of the TV series The Following achieved to represent, during the first season, the spaces that Poe "painted" in his tales.

Why is it important?
It is important because even though the series seemed to aim only to emphasize the macabre aspects of Poe's short stories, here it is demonstrated that the creators of the series had also understood the subliminal spaces in Poe's narratives.
Perspectives
I enjoyed a lot researching for this essay. I love writing about Poe and finding new perspectives about him, Williamson and his team allowed me to contrast their own vision of Poe's spaces with mine.
