What is it about?

To achieve afforestation in wetlands may face different challenges when compared to that in montane area. The water logging events in wetlands may request a more complicate response of newly planted tree roots. Therefore, larger tree stock, which has been widely proven to perform better in field, may perform differently in riparian sites. Throughout this study, we found that larger stock with greater root biomass was found to have more N soaked out of roots.

Why is it important?

Firstly determine the relationship between initial tree stock property of morphology or N status and transplanted N flux response to hydroponic wetland environment.
