This study is about to reveal the parasite fauna of grey mullet and their interactions with several environmental factors.

Why is it important?

This study is the first due to dealing with many parasite species and the factors affecting their occurrences in a protected area anounced to be a Ramsar area in Turkey.


This study dealt with a more complex relationships between ecto and endoparasites of an economically significant fish species collected a special sampling area and statistical analysis that were used provided clearer understanding about host-parasite-environment combination.
