What is it about?
Since geography is not widely taught in the United States, and is usually an elective when offered, the first course a student takes may determine whether they take a second or subsequent course. If the course is successful in the student's perspective, they might take another course. If the course is not successful for the student, this may be the last geography course they ever take.
